Common Questions

I need storage this week, but your schedule is full.  Can I still use SpaceMaker? My high-rise apartment or condo won’t let me place a mobile self-storage unit in our loading area.  Can I still use a SpaceMaker?

  • Place the container on the street near your apartment. Or
  • Rent a truck and drive to our secure facility in Hyattsville.
  • We will have a container in our yard waiting for you.
  • Unload directly from your truck into the self-storage unit.  No elevators, stairs, hallways, dolly’s, or hand trucks required.
  • Close the door and put a lock on it.
  • We move it into our secure facility for safekeeping.  
  • If you need to access your stuff, give us 48 hours’ notice and we will put your container back in the yard for you to access.  When finished, we place it back into our secure facility.  
  • When you are finished storing, we will deliver your unit to your new location for unloading.
